With 3 cats and a dog in the house, I think it is safe to say I clean up a lot of pet stains and other lovely stuff! It can be a huge task especially when you have new pets in the home. I actually have ripped out the carpet from my living room area because I could not keep up with the mess from old stains seeping through. It was a continual fight and I quit! I have a few tough stains in my bedroom carpet that really need some attention and this is the perfect product to try on them. I applied the product as directed and allowed it to set to 5 minutes. There was no stinky over powering smell to the product at all. Nice!
After the 5 minutes was up, I used a clean rag and applied pressure to pick up the moisture and the excess dirt. (I stand on the rag and bounce a bit to make sure I get it all). I still had a small bit of a dark area so I applied it a second time, allowing it to sit again for approximately 5 minutes. Again I used a clean cloth to absorb the moisture and the dirt and it came out beautifully! Awesome. Now I just let it dry and vacuum for a nice finish!
I have several other tough stains where my son dumped a soda in his room and by the side of my bed. I am treating those right now and happy to know that I can reduce the stains by quite a bit or alleviate them all together. I am surprised that these stains are only taking 2 treatments to clear. That is pretty powerful!
Overall, I am pretty impressed by the new carpet cleaner. It is simple to use and the spray nozzle works really well. No clogging and it works fast. This is one product that you may want to check out if you have some tough stains to remove.
