Planning a Golf Trip to North Carolina

August 28, 2012 by Shelly

My husband’s 51st Birthday is coming up the middle of October and I decided to surprise him with a big trip to the great state of North Carolina. My husband is really into the game of golf, so this trip will be a fabulous surprise to him.

I got online earlier today and did a search for NC Golf Communities and found several that look beautiful! Normally we hit the coast when visiting North Carolina but this time around, I want to hit the mountains. I think we both need some much needed rest and relaxation.

When my husband goes golfing, he much prefers to play golf in the countryside or the mountains. He loves beautifully landscaped golfing communities with a challenging golf course. He can be picky on the type of places he picks out when he is out enjoying his hobby.

I am not really into golfing, so when he hits the course…I hit the nearby spa. That’s right folks, I like to indulge in seaweed wraps, mud soaks, facials and massages. I mean really, tell me a girl who doesn’t, right? At least I can keep myself occupied while he is out having some fun!

Do any of you enjoy a good game of golf? If so, what is your handicap and do you have any favorite courses that you like to play at? Got any tips for me to pass along to my husband?

I don’t like golf a lot. I used to play when I was a child and teenager because my father loved golf and I’d sometimes go with him
