My mom was a fabulous cook. She was German but we lived in many different places around the world and she would pick up tips on how to make cultural foods. One of the types of food she loved was Asian food and she became very good at preparing it. Her Vietnamese Spring Rolls were to die for! Today I wanted to share with you her recipe for an Asian Marinade that she would use on different meats. It is easy to make and the taste is amazing.
Mom’s Asian Marinade Recipe
1 TBSP Minced Garlic
2 TBSP Dijon Mustard
3 TBSP Soy Sauce
6 TBSP Olive Oil or Sesame Oil
Whisk together and marinade your meat in a plastic zip bag or in a deep dish. Throw it on the grill and enjoy.
This is awesome on Pork Steaks, Pork Tenderloins, Chicken Skewers or Beef Skewers. The smell is amazing. Hope you love it!

Thank you for the recipe . I hope you will one day share her recipe for Spring Rolls.
It’s such a simple list of ingredients and my daughter is going to love it. She loves Asian marinades and is always looking for them in cookbooks. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
