Looking for a New Home in Pasadena?

My friend Kelly moved to California a few months ago and has been super busy looking at several Pasadena homes. She called me up this morning and told me that she and her hubby found the perfect home, and they hope to close on the home later next week.

I asked her why it took so long to find the home of their dreams and she was telling me it was because there were so many gorgeous choices! Wow, I wish it had been that way when hubby and I were purchasing a house two years ago! We really had a difficult time finding a great house here in our area.

Anyway, the house they decided on has 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, living room, dining room, a very large kitchen, family room, small den/home office, a full basement, attic that is partially re-done and the best part of the home, an indoor pool!

Oh my gosh, I would love to have an indoor pool and Kelly is getting one! I am so jealous of that! She said the pool room is gorgeous with plenty of seating area around the pool and that 3 walls that enclose the pool are total glass. How cool is that? Totally cool!

She told me that the home sits on 2 1/2 acres of beautifully landscaped land and in the backyard is a large tree with a tree house for the kids. I think the kids are really going to enjoy that!

I am really excited for Kelly and her family, and I can’t wait to see the pictures once the house closes. With great houses like that out there on the west coast, perhaps I should head west once my husband retires!

Now I am looking forward to my trip to California later this year as I will be visiting with Kelly, and then heading to the middle of the state to visit with Chris, the co-owner of this fabulous blog! Yeah, 3 week vacation is coming my way in November!
