One of the bad parts about getting older is the changes in your hair. It is a gradual thing and I even see it in my husbands hair too. He won’t admit it, but when I look at the top of his head, I see thinning hair. I wanted to find something that would help my changing hair and help his too. That is when Keranique Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner stepped in.
Keranique is a Sulfate Free solution to thinning hair in women and it works great for men too. I had heard a lot about it but had never tried it. I was anxious to do so. I was sent the Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner to check out.
One of the things that Keranique has figured out is that many problems like limp flat hair and thinning is due to inadequate cleansing which blocks the pores from producing more hair. The Volumizing shampoo is great for cleansing well and it is Sulfate free so it is safe for color treated hair too. This product is created for women’s hair chemistry and with this formula, it will help the protein in your hair, add volume fullness and it also contains a treatment that is clinically proven to help regrow hair.
I figured it was be a good one to try as I really like fullness in my hair and with my hubby’s thinning hair, you get a two for one review. Using the shampoo was great. It is a gold liquid that is not too thick but not thin either. It lathered pretty well, but with the sulfate free formula, you will not get a head full of suds. The shampoo felt great, smelled nice and did a good job cleansing. My hair felt great and it had a lot of nice volume again when I styled it. In fact, I had to tame down the sides a bit as I looked like an 80’s throw back. haha
Hubby gave it a try and used the shampoo and conditioner as his hair is pretty dry. He really liked the first time results. His hair had a lot of additional fullness that we had to tame (time for a haircut!) and it felt very soft and nice. I liked the way his hair turned out very much. It is touchable and looked good.
We have both used the Keranique Hair Care Products several times since then with good results. With hubby’s thicker hair, it is not showing the thinning area as much. I don’t know that it is regrowing the hair, but it is full enough to look the same as the rest of his hair, which is nice.
