I love going up to New York City to shop and now that our home remodeling projects are moving along, I am ready for another New York City shopping trip. We are planning to hit the big apple come early October!
One of the items at the top of my shopping list is a new comfortable Mattress NYC. I heard that their bedding and mattress stores up there are some of the best and that they carry all of the major brands. Down here in Pennsylvania where I live, our bedding choices are not always the greatest.
I have been doing some comparison shopping and asking all of my friends & family about their bedding. Well, my sister who is a nurse recommended to us a Stearns and Foster mattress set. Have any of you ever heard of that brand? Do any of you own a set from them?
My sister and her husband purchased a Stearns & Foster set about 3 years ago and they absolutely love it. She got one that has the comfortable pillow top on the top of it and said it is like sleeping on a cloud. That is exactly the type of comfort I am looking for!
My husband and I purchased a new mattress set about 6 years ago and have been extremely unhappy with it’s performance. We paid about $700 for the set and thought it was a great deal. Well, it was a deal but…it sure in heck is not comfortable!

I had a Sterns & Foster years ago and it was comfortable. What about the adjustable mattresses where you can change the comfort setting to harder or softer?
Thanks ladies for your comments! I am still doing my research on this matter and consider the opinions of others to be helpful. I have chronic back pain and so does my husband. I like a softer mattress and he likes them firm.
I think mattress is should be comfortable. You can’t buy a mattress just because it’s on sale. You have to like it
I’d like to know the answer to that question too. I’m in my 3rd trimester and sleeping horribly at night.
