High Efficiency Money Saving Robby Wash Ball

August 27, 2012 by Classystaff

Oh gosh, wash day is here again. For me it is Saturday. I have a product to tell you about that will help take away some of that dread. It is the Robby Wash ball system. When asked to review this, I was skeptical. I had been told about it before but did not have the chance to try it. My daughter-in-law loves hers and now I love mine. It is a ball with little pellets in it. The advertizing states the filled ball and the refills sent with it will last a year (about 120 loads). I’m thinking how much money I can save on my name brand detergent, which is about $25.00 a box. I do buy the big box and it lasts awhile but not a year! No mess from spilled detergent? But will it clean the clothes? I can’t wait to give it a try.

I really would rather do most other household chores than laundry–even iron. I guess a therapist could tell me but I can’t figure out why. So I gathered all the laundry to be done and set to it. I like to use cold water and the makers of Robby Wash recommend water no more than !80 degrees so this is good for me. There is another fuchsia Robby Wash ball made for colors but I only had the blue ball so I used it for whites and colors. I had been out to dinner and had spilled butter from shrimp scampi on a white blouse. I thought that would be a good test for this product. I treated the greasy stain with the stain stick included with the ball and stuck it in the washer. I did not use any bleach. The whites came out so bright and my blouse was not longer stained. The colored clothes also came out very clean and very soft.

I am going to quote from the company’s advertizing now. “In the ball are macromolecules that are gradually released through the wash, dissolving dried in stains by generating ions which activate the water molecules. The action of the washing machine carries the dirt away from the clothes.” I don’t know about ions activating molecules but I do know my laundry was clean and smelled wonderful. The pellets are hypoallergenic so you could use the balls for baby laundry or for those with sensitive skin. There are no phosphates or chlorine, or lead in this product. Chlorine can caused oxidation in your clothing. Odors are eliminated by it’s antibacterial action. I am all for putting fewer chemicals down the drain so this just makes sense to me. The Robby Wash balls are tested, proven and guaranteed.
High Efficiency Money Saving Robby Wash Ball System
The Robby Wash ball system I received is equal to 75 pounds of laundry detergent. The cost of this system as I received it is $32.95. That will save me a lot of money and I do not have to lug those heavy boxes from the car. I also will not have all those spilled granules of detergent to clean up. The cost of the load of laundry is about $.25 with the Robby Wash ball compared to about $1.00 per load of brand name detergent. The Robby Wash balls can be used in top or front loading wash machines.

I am going to keep using this product to see if my clothes and the rest of my laundry stay so clean and nice smelling for a while. If so I will never buy another box of laundry detergent!
