Gorgeous Woven Workz Throw Blanket
A few months ago I had the great pleasure of introducing you to the online store called Madison at Main and today, we will be featuring another gorgeous item from them here on our blog. If you have never shopped at Madison at Main, you are really missing out! Our Review: The company sent us one of their new Woven Workz Throw Blankets in the beautiful Charlotte style. The throw blanket comes in 9 pretty colors and we got the sky blue, which goes with just about everything! A lot of my home decor is in a “coastal style” so if you decorate coastal, this sky blue would make a beautiful addition to your home.
The throw blanket is over-sized and measures 54″ by 64″ in length. It is the perfect size for mother and child or for two adults to snuggle. It is made out of super soft 100% acrylic and let me tell you, this is the softest acrylic I have ever felt! It feels super nice against your skin.
I am not sure how to describe the texture other than it’s a vertical ribbing which adds depth and interest. Since it’s not a patterned throw, the ribbing adds all of the decoration & texture that you would need. Each short end of the throw blanket has 4″ long fringe. I love fringe on throws as it’s a nice way to finish off the edges.
The reverse side of the throw has a vertical ribbing pattern too…but it’s on a smaller and tighter scale. The throw is completely reversible so you can use it on whichever side you prefer using. I personally like the larger ribbing side as it’s softer but my hubby prefers the smaller ribbing side. The choice is totally yours.
You will need to take “some” care with this throw blanket as it’s not machine washable. It is hand wash only with a gentle laundry soap, like Woolite. I don’t mind hand washing things at all, because I always find that hand washables last longer. After washing, don’t twist it, just hang it up to air dry.
I am absolutely IN-LOVE with my new throw blanket! I have been keeping it in our living room and when my grand daughter is here, we snuggle under it while watching movies or reading books. My husband also likes the blanket and he will snuggle up in it for his “naptime” on the weekends. It is extremely well-made and priced, just right! With fall weddings, birthdays and the holidays coming, it would make an awesome gift!
