My brother has been coaching a boy’s ice hockey team for the past 4 years and really loves what he does. Matter of fact, his whole family is involved (his wife helps out) and my 2 nephews play the game.
Well, Jeff was telling me about this really cool web site online where he gets free hockey drills. I went over and took a peek at them and decided to share all of the information with all of you. I am sure some of you have sons who are playing hockey!
As a coach or a player, you can get free drills to help with:
* Shooting
* Timing
* Backchecking
* Warmup Practice Drills
* Stick Handling
* Skating (super important)
* Puck Control
* Goalie Drills
* Shooting Drills
* and so much more!
From a coach’s perspective, I know nothing about the game. But from a fan’s perspective, I love how fast they skate and all of the physical action that goes on during a great hockey game.
Another cool feature of this web site is that coach’s can use it to totally manage their team’s roster, customize their team’s practice drills and to come up with their own comprehensive team’s playbook. Wow, those are some pretty nice features for sure!
Do any of you coach a hockey team or have children who play the game of hockey? If you have kids that play the game, what position do they play and how long have they been playing the game?
