How many of you have ever needed to call a professional to get a faucet repair job done? Well guess what? Our need for that happened a few days ago! Oh, wait until I tell you all the story!
For the past few weeks I have been complaining to my husband about this drippy noise at night coming from our one guest bathrooms. He of course, couldn’t hear it, but it would disturb me at night when I was trying to sleep.
Seriously folks, instead of counting sheep, I was laying there and counting the drips! This was driving me total bonkers!
Anyway, on Saturday night we went to bed and about 2 hours later we were rudely awaken by what sounded like a rushing river. We get out of bed and go into that guest bathroom to find the faucet gushing water like the big Colorado River! Oh my gosh, what a mess!
My hubby got the water shut off from the main valve down in the basement and we cleaned up the water. Oh, he was so mad about this water mess! Well, I told him that if he would of listened to me weeks ago about this drippy faucet and if he had taken care of it back then, we wouldn’t of ended up with the flooded mess that we now had on our hands.
I don’t know if this is a “man” problem or what…but sometimes I feel our hubby’s just turn a death ear when we complain about something needing fixed around the house.
Well, I think my husband has learned a very valuable lesson now because he had to call a professional plumber to come out on a weekend to fix the broken and drippy faucet. Maybe next time, he will take me seriously and get onto the problem right away.
A girl can only hope…right?
blog conversation is brought to you by: Rotorooter, however, all the points and views are my own.

You are right. If you don’t have the problem taken care of right away or very soon it just gets worse.
It’s absolutely a “man” problem– glad you got it fixed!
“Amen!” We have been through this, also…
Thanks, Cindi
