Bugslock Bug Bracelets by Gogadgety

Bug repellants are messy, occasionally stinky, and not always the safest option.   DEET-free options are on the market, but they still tend to be messy and stinky.   Short of making my own mosquito repelling concoction, I’ve been stuck using various commercial products that work but not to my complete satisfaction.  Bugslock Bug Bracelets are affordable, mess-free, and most importantly, they work.

I hate bugs.  I hate them with a deep-seeded passion.  Mosquitos and gnats are the worst.  Those buggers may not look like much, but they have mean bites that itch for days sometimes.   It’s this way for me and my crew.  Poor hubs is a bug magnet and cannot spend much time outside without some kind of bug repellant.  Our routine on yard work days included covering ourselves in some toxic or non-toxic oily mess designed to keep him safe from various bites.  But now thanks to Gogadgety’s Bugslock Bug Bracelets, all he or anyone has to do is put on a bracelet.   I received two bracelets right before our last work day and was quite surprised.  Bugslock Bug Bracelets

According to Gogadgety, Bugslock are made with citronella oil (an awesome bug repellant), DEET-free, reusable, non-toxic, comfortable, and adjustable.   To use, just put it on your wrist, ankle, your clothing, or backpack.  We went the wrist route and went on to mowing, weeding, and such.  Considering the amount of rain we’ve had lately, we expected to be eaten alive without repellant.  It was a pleasant surprise to be bug-free without our usual coating of bug stuff.  We made it through our workday bite-free.  I put mine away and used it again on a morning walk a few days later.  The bugs kept clear and my walk was itch-free.
