Batiste Dry Shampoo The One-Minute Miracle
There are times in every woman’s life that a shampoo is just not feasible. Camping trips, getting up late and hospital stays are a few that come to mind quickly. Another great one would be after a lunchtime workout when you have to run back to the office or grab the kids from school. On those days, a Dry Shampoo is a good option and something simple to use that you can carry with you in your tote or gym bag.
I have the opportunity to check out a dry shampoo and do a comparison to another popular brand so I could really get the skinny on the differences. Batiste Dry Shampoo, the one-minute miracle, is made from Rice starch which produces a lighter finish while other brands use corn starch. I was curious on how this would play out and see which I preferred.
So I grab a can of the Tresemme dry shampoo product and use that one first. The key to using any dry shampoo successfully is to shake is often while applying it. The Tresemme has a decent scent, nothing over powering and the spray is easy to use and point to the area that needs it. I lifted sections of my hair and applied it, then I massaged it in and fluffed it out. It had body and looked good to start but by the end of the day, it was drooping a bit and starting to go limp. It lost the fullness it had when I first applied it.
A few days later, I tried the Batiste Dry Shampoo. Again I sectioned my hair and applied the product, massaged my hair and fluffed. The first thing I noticed with this product is the force of the spray that comes out of the can. I got a much better coverage with this product. The scent was nice and clean too, not over powering at all to me. The finish to my hair was nice too. It felt full and it had a lot of body to it. When I applied my hairspray to go out to run errands, it looked like I had shampooed and blow dried my hair that morning.
Later in the evening after running my errands, my hair still felt full and not dirty. It had decent body and texture left and overall the Batiste lasted longer than the results I got with the competing brand. Another cool thing about this brand is that is available in different scents and if you have dark hair, you can even find the dry shampoo that is made for your hair coloring. I have light color hair so if some of the product came out white, it wouldn’t matter, but if you have darker hair and didn’t shake the can enough, you could see some white residue, which is why having colored product is a cool idea! The Bastise Dry Shampoo would be an awesome it to use if you have thin hair as it will add additional body to your hair.
This product is available nationally and you can check out their website to find the stores near you. If you have a use for a dry shampoo at some point, and we all do, give the Bastiste a try. I think you will like the results.
