Today we have another great addition to our “End of Summer Entertaining Guide” and today’s review is on the Auntie Anne’s At-Home Soft Pretzel Baking Kit! If you are like me and my family, I am sure you all love the great taste of Auntie Anne’s soft pretzels!
The company sent me their Apple Cinnamon At-Home Baking Kit to try out for all of you and let me tell you, I was in for a real treat! The baking kit comes with just about everything that you will need except for: water, butter and a dusting of flour. The dough mix, yeast packet, apple cinnamon oat blend packet, baking soda packet and cinnamon sugar mix packet are all included in the box.
Inside the box is a sheet that contains all of the instructions that tell you exactly what you need to do to make these yummy soft pretzels! You can make the traditional soft pretzel, soft pretzel sticks, soft pretzel nuggets or try their recipe for Apple Cinnamon Pecan Monkey Bread which is printed on the back of the instruction sheet.
I decided to make soft pretzel sticks with my kit and followed all of the very easy-to-understand directions. It took me about 40 minutes to have it all prepared (most of that is letting your dough rise) and then I placed them into the oven to bake. After about 8 minutes, they were done and we brushed them with the melted butter and cinnamon/sugar mix. After cooling, my family sat down to enjoy them and let me tell you, they ate almost all of them within an hour!
These Apple Cinnamon Soft Pretzels that we made using the Auntie Anne’s At-Home Baking Kit were absolutely delicious! The next time around I am going to try making their recipe for monkey bread! Delicious!
