Use Local Search Marketing for Your Business Growth
As a small business owner myself, I know how important it is to market your small business locally and online to get the biggest bang from your efforts. Even though my business in mainly online, I still provide valuable services that my local brick and mortar stores can use and from which we can both benefit. This is why I market my online business locally too. To the reverse, it is just as important to get local businesses online and using local search marketing can really help business growth.
What is local search marketing? To put it in a nutshell, it is making sure that when products and sites are searched for online, your business will come up. So if my local florist is using keywords that include our local area and other seo keywords they want to be found under, their site will come up on the first page in the search results bringing valuable traffic to them; traffic the competitor florist down the street may be missing.
Why is this important you ask? Well to put it simply, if your potential customers are looking for local sites, you better be on the ball! If all you have as a online presence is a white pages phone listing that somehow got on the internet, you are missing huge numbers of clients that are looking for your business products.
If this sounds like you and your business, take action now!
The world is going to the internet in faster rates than before. Do not be left behind and give your hard work to your nearest competitor. Start building your business up by being found on local searches for both online business and brick and mortar businesses. It is critical to your business health and future growth.
Do you use local searches and listing for your online business? How much traffic do you get from locals and how much has it added to your bottom line? This could be missing income if you are not easily found!
