As we all know, living on a budget can be a pain! At my house, I have to save wherever I can and that usually means I have to shop discounts and deals all over town. Last night or should I say, in the middle of the night, hubby and I went to Walmart to do some grocery shopping and I am just not convinced that they have the lowest prices, especially in my town.
We are pretty structured in our purchases so I know what I pay for specific items and I kept saying “Oh I can get the cheaper at such and such store.” What really ticks me off is that I hate to shop for certain items at one store, then have to go to another store for particular items. If I were to do all of my shopping in one day, I would end up at 5 different stores to find the best prices and the items I need. Honestly, I don’t think that helps save a lot of money either, schlepping back and forth to different stores.
Coupons are not really the answer in it entirety either. Yes I do use some coupons, but I would still have to go to the store with the cheapest price on that item so I can save the most. Just thinking about it all makes me really tired! I really despise grocery shopping anymore.
I need some tips on how to manage all of the crap now. Honestly, is there a better method I haven’t figure out?
