My husband and I are getting ready to go on our 4th vacation this year and we are going to be heading back down to the Jersey Shore. This time around we will be spending 10 days down there and taking in a lot of the sites and sounds that the Jersey Shore has to offer.
I am going to do some shopping over the next few days as I am looking for comfortable shoes for women, at least 2 pairs and I would like to have 2 or 3 maxi dresses to take on my trip. Last week I found a beautiful maxi skirt and 3 nice shirts, but I still need several other items for our upcoming trip.
As you all know, we were just down there in early June and going back down there next month. This time around we are going to visit the local Aquarium, the Wildlife Park, the Sea Bird Sanctuary, the Coast Guard Museum and several other places.
We are going to do a slew of walking and this time I want to be prepared for it. I was thinking about getting a pair of sandals with orthotic insoles and perhaps a pair of walking shoes or walking sneakers. The last time we were down there my legs ached and ached for days because I didn’t have good walking shoes with me.
I figured that I could wear the comfortable sandals during the day while we are over on the beach and wear the walking shoes/sneakers when we go out touring all of the sites. Perhaps I should look into getting hubby some new shoes too!
When it comes to shopping for comfortable shoes, what particular styles do you like to buy? Got any favorite brands? Any tips or suggestions for me?
I am not sure of a name but there is a hiking sandal that is so comfy. It has gel insoles and that might not look as cute as some sandals but cute isn’t always comfy. Just sayin! =)
