Hands-Free Step-On Modern Kitchen Trash Cans

Last weekend my husband built us a new wooden trash receptacle over at the house and it’s large enough to hold 4 large trash cans. We figured it was best to build something to hold them all, that way we won’t have to worry about windy weather blowing them away.

I was online looking for some large trash bins and found a Skip Bins Sydney company over in  Australia that has exactly what I am looking for. Now I just need to find a company over here in the United States that sells them too.

The kind of trash bins I would like to get have the wheels on the bottom of them so I can wheel them around when needed. I also want one that has a locking lid, so that I never have to worry about the lid blowing off during windy rain or snow storms.

My husband would love to get two of those extra large wheel-able trash bins with the 4-wheels on them for his business office because last week someone stole all 5 of their trash cans. Why would anyone want to steal trash cans? ugh!

I would love to know what kind of trash bins (trash cans) that you use? Do you have the metal kind or the hard durable plastic kind? We are a family of 3 and our trash gets picked up once a week so I am thinking 4 trash bins would be enough for us. What do you think?
