As you all know, we purchased an old home 2 1/2 years ago that we have been gutting and remodeling. We are hoping to move into our home come early September and we needed some emergency lighting. This emergency lighting 3-piece kit is completely wireless and includes: one Power Outage Detector, one Path Light & one Ceiling Light.

My husband took everything out of the box and gathered up the necessary batteries that were needed. He then got busy putting everything in the spot that he wanted them. He placed the ceiling light up onto the ceiling in one of our hallways that leads from the bedrooms out into the kitchen. He placed the path light at the top of the entryway that leads down a set of stairs to our family room and he placed the power outage protector in our living room. The power outage protector also doubles as a little remote control and as a LED flashlight.
The power outage detector is plugged in and the green light lets you know that it’s working.
This set arrived at the perfect time! Last Saturday morning my hubby put the 3-piece set up. We hit 106 degrees that day and let me tell you, we knew a bad storm was coming! We were ripping out some old carpet and finishing up some trim work when the power went out from the storm. Within 1-2 seconds (yes, seconds), all 3 of our new emergency lights came on! Wow! We were pleasantly surprised that they came on in just a matter of 1 to 2 seconds and thanks to the LED lights, they were super bright! Our power was off a good 70 to 75 minutes and both the ceiling light and path light remained on until the power came on…then they automatically turned themselves off! How cool is that? Totally cool!
