I have always loved receiving and giving monogrammed gifts to loved ones because it’s a personal way to show that person that you care. These days you can get just about anything monogrammed!
My Review: The great folks over at Marley Lilly sent me their beautiful Monogrammed Luxe Cross Body Clutch bag to review for all of you. This bag comes in a lot of different colors from pink to blue and your classics like black, white and brown. Love their color choices!
The clutch is made of synthetic (man-made) leather with a pebble texture. It looks and feels like leather to me (although it’s not). The bag features a goldtone removable chain strap so you can wear it as a cross body bag or carry it as a clutch.
It’s done in a traditional envelope shape and has a goldtoned clasp. You can get your initials monogrammed on the flap of the bag (mine are SHL) and are done in a beautiful script lettering. You can select the style of font you want along with your particular thread colors.
The inside of the bag is beautifully lined in a lighter fabric so that you can see your contents easily when searching for them. There is also a magnetic snap so that adds extra security so that your items won’t easily fall out.
The bag measures 11″ wide by 7″ high and I think it’s the perfect sized bag for a night out on the town or use it as an everyday bag for those of you who don’t carry a lot in your handbags. With that said, I love to carry large totes and I am constantly disorganized with my bag contents. I put some of my items into the clutch bag and it sits proudly inside my large tote bag. When I just need my wallet and a few items, I simply lift the clutch out of my tote and I am ready to roll.
