Looking for Kitchen Cabinets in West Palm Beach
A few weeks ago I told you all about my sister Kateisha who moved down to West Palm Beach in Florida to take on a new job opportunity, so today I wanted to give you all an update on how she is doing.
Her new job is going well and she is really enjoying it. For the past 10 days my sister has been out house shopping and finally found the perfect house for her family. The house is about 25 years old and needs a little work to modernize it but overall, she is really pleased about it.
Like most people who buy a new home, she wants to totally get the kitchen and bathrooms remodeled first and then move onto the rest of the rooms within the house.
Kateisha was looking for a company that does kitchen cabinets West Palm Beach and guess what? She finally found one! The home’s current kitchen cabinets are 25 years old and need to be taken down and new ones put in. My sister said they are the typical late 1970’s to early 1980’s looking kitchen cabinets.
Since hubby and I also just purchased a house and are looking for new kitchen cabinets she wanted to tell me about the ones she selected for her new home. She told me that they are solid oak that have been stained/painted white and that the cabinet front’s are clear glass. She likes the look of an open cabinet whereas, I like my dishes displayed behind closed doors! LOL
She was also telling me about the orange and mint green wallpaper in the kitchen which definitely speaks “late 70’s” and she is having that ripped out and going with just a painted wall. The flooring she said wasn’t too bad and that she would probably leave that alone, at least for now.
I am looking forward to seeing her before and after photos of our kitchen once the remodeling has been completed as it might give hubby and I a few ideas that we can use too.
I have never been down to West Palm Beach in Florida before but now hubby and I are seeking out West Palm Beach information, so that we can plan a surprise trip this fall to go down and visit my sister. Have any of you ever been to West Palm Beach before? If so, how did you like it?
