Oh ladies, I have a real treat for all of you today because, I get to introduce you all to SkinnyJeans! These jeans are unlike most other jeans because they are cut, sewn and wash right here in the good old U.S.A., Los Angeles to be exact! These jeans claim that they will make you look thinner and trust me, I was very skeptical of that claim until I put them onto my body! Oh my gosh…it’s true!
These are the same SkinnyJeans that you have seen in the magazines like Lucky, Good Housekeeping, InStyle, People StyleWatch, on the Today Show…well, just every where! I have been seeing them and have always wondered about them, so I was pretty excited to receive a black pair of SkinnyJeans for the review!
These SkinnyJeans feature the classic 5-pocket styling with a zippered front fly. The are the jeans from the All American Team Colors SkinnyJeans line and I love them! They are done in the skinny straight leg cut and are made from American-made denim! They contain 86% cotton, 11% polyester and 3% spandex. These jeans really stretch and move with you!
The jeans are machine washable and line dry. You should never use bleach while washing your denim jeans, so easy wear and easy care! Just the way a good pair of denim jeans should be!
Regarding the fit…they have a higher waistline than most jeans and I like that as it helps to cover up my “love-handles”. LOL! The are cut to hug your body but not cut-off your blood circulation, super comfortable to wear! When it comes to jeans, one thing I am always picky about is the rear-end pockets…I don’t like over-sized pockets which make my “trunk” look bigger. These back pockets are perfectly sized to flatter your rear, no matter what your rear size is! (trust me ladies, that is important to know!).
The “Team Color” jeans come in a wide variety of colors, including your classic white and black jeans. I love that I can pick out some fun pastel colors for summer and then go for the deeper shades in the fall and winter.
I received the jeans a week ago and have already worn them several times. They are the most comfortable pair of jeans that I own! I can get down onto the floor with Little G and play, I can go out walking with my walking group and be comfortable. I can dress them up with a nice shirt or sweater and go out on a date with my husband. These jeans are the best jeans since….well…since they invented jeans! I absolutely LOVE my new slimming jeans!
