My dog is a huge part of the family so every once in a while he will get treats just to spoil him a bit. Since he is a lazy butt most of the time, I really watch what he gets to eat. Made by NutriSentials, these Lean Treats are made with real skinless chicken which is a great source of protein and pets love chicken so it is a real treat for them! The Dog Lean Treats have added glucosamine and chondroitin for joint support, while Lean Treats for Cats have Taurie for improved vision and heart health.
These treats come in a zipper lock pouch so you can keep them fresh and they are the perfect size for rewarding and training treats. Louie, who loves anything besides boring old kibble, took one sniff at these treats and enjoyed testing them for me! They are a small chewy nugget so he actually worked on it for a second or two, which is amazing for him! Usually it is gulp and its gone! LOL
The ingredients of this product is pretty good. The first ingredient for the dog treats is chicken liver and then Skinless Chicken is second, so I am happy that I can give him bite sized treats that are only a few calories each and are healthy from him too! I really like that these are very affordable as you get quite a bit of treats in the 4 oz package.
