Did you all know that July is National Hot Dog month? I never knew that until just recently when we attended a local National Hot Dog Month event here in our own hometown.
We love hot dogs but we are pretty picky about which hot dogs we like and also picky about our hot dog toppings. I don’t care for boiled hot dogs at all and prefer them grilled, well done to be exact!
Today…we wanted to know about your hot dog habits. What kind of hot dogs are your favorite? How do you like your hot dogs prepared? When it comes to topping your dog with a bunch of yummy toppings, what do you like on it? Is there anything you like on the side or as a side-dish to go along with your favorite hot dogs?
Personally, I love mine grilled and I prefer beef or pork hot dogs. I am not a fan of chicken dogs at all. Most of the time I just slap some gourmet ketchup on top but my hubby loves a hot dog loaded with ketchup and dijon mustard. Sometimes we will make cheese dogs or homemade chili dogs to mix it up.
