We love pizza and I try to make a good homemade pizza for my family every two to three weeks. With that said, we are starting to get bored with some of our favorites and I thought that I would ask all of you about your pizza likes and dislikes.
What kind of toppings do you like on your pizza? Do you like a red sauce or a white pizza sauce? Do you like a flat crust, stuffed crust or a traditional pizza crust? What is the most unusual thing (if you have an unusual thing) that you like on your pizza?
I would really appreciate some pizza ideas as I need to make about 8 homemade pizzas in 2 weeks for my hubby who is having some guy friends over to help him do flooring over at the house.
Oh yeah, one more question…what is your favorite beverage to enjoy while eating pizza?

For me I love the white cheese garlic sauce pizza, but hubby loves red sauce and he always requests “extra sauce” so when ever we order one I feel its way too much sauce for my taste, he also wants peperoni on the pizza but then picks them off, (so strange, LOL) He claims it flavors it, I am a big fan of “heat” so hot peppers/ or the chili flakes are my favorite to top it I also love Bacon, actually I love Bacon on anything of course on Pizza that’s a given, we usually get our pizza from a local pizzeria thats been opened for about 40 yrs or more, we switch our pizza toppings every now and then, but generally like pepperoni all over plus half with mushrooms & green peppers, then I add chili pepper flakes to mine, yum!! ‘havent made a home made one in ages, should give it a try, you got me hungry now.. LOL, sorry didnt have a new topping idea for ya, I’m just a basic toppings person when it comes to pizza

Your hubby sounds like mine! He orders pizza with pepperoni & then picks it off…red sauce type of guy. He does eat the pepperoni but only after he has eaten his slice of pizza. He is strange!
I love a good 3-cheese pizza with spinach…love it!
My fave is thin crust with red sauce, turkey bacon, spinach, mushrooms, garlic and light cheese. Also enjoy Domino’s Chicken & Bacon Carbonara that has “marinara and alfredo sauce, grilled chicken breast, smoked bacon, cheese, diced tomatoes, and a dash of oregano on an artisan-style crust” As far as drinks go I like green tea or red wine hehe.
i like chicken with alfredo sauce on my pizza. a restaurant here has mac & cheese pizza and my kids love it. honest, all meat pizza is my all time fave.
For homemade pizza you can change the cheese or toppings to whatever the guys like, so ask them. If you pre-roast peppers, onions or garlic they are even better (sweeter) to put on a pizza
thats a great idea! Some of my peppers from the garden are ready for picking and I can roast them on the grill!
I make homemade pizzas often here. Personally I love thin crust while hubby likes thicker crusts. The kid just loves pizza.
Normally we make pepperoni for the kid for sure, but I also make mushroom and olive; mushroom and italian sausage; mixed cheeses; white cheese sauce w. chicken and artichokes; pepperoni and sausage or pepperoni and olive.
My beverage of choice – ice cold beer of course!
I made a bacon, ham, pineapple and 3-cheese pizza a few weeks ago. Do you use green or black olives?
only black olives for us. DH likes green but I think of martinis when i see them.. not like that is bad or anything LOL
