Homemade Pineapple Casserole Recipe

I love making this tropical pineapple casserole for my family during the summer months as it just speaks summer! It is really easy to prepare and you only need 5 different ingredients to make it. It is a great way to incorporate pineapples into your family’s diet.

Homemade Pineapple Casserole Recipe

1/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
4 large eggs, lightly beaten
4 slices bread, broken up into pieces
1 can crushed pineapples, drained

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Break up the bread slices into bite-sized pieces and place them into a baking dish. In a large mixing bowl mix together the softed butter, granulated sugar and lightly beaten eggs. Stir in the crushed pineapples. Pour entire mixture overtop of the bread pieces in your baking dish. Place it into a preheated 350 degree oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove.

You can serve this dessert warm or cold. Store all leftovers in an airtight container in your refrigerator.

If you have every tried banana bread pudding this is similar but uses crushed pineapple instead of bananas. My family loves it!
