Once I received my kit, I read over the instructions and placed the entire kit into my freezer. The next morning I took it out and placed it into my handbag. As I went out my day and felt a hot flash coming on, I reached for my kit and removed the 2 cooling palm packs and used them. Sometimes I just held them in my hands, sometimes I placed them on my forehead, behind my neck or even on top of my feet. Within seconds my hot flash disappeared and I didn’t soak my clothing with dreadful hot flash sweat.
Once your episode is over you place them back into the storage case so that the recooling core pack makes them ice cold again. When you feel the next hot flash coming on, just remove them and repeat the process. I found that my cooling packs lasted me about 5 to 6 hours every day before I had to put the entire kit back into my freezer again.
