Last week we were on vacation down to the Jersey Shore and guess what? Hubby forgot to pack his razor and shaving supplies! Anyway, we had to go to a local discount store and purchase a disposable razor and a bar of soap, so that hubby could do his shaving while we were away.
Later that night he soaped up his face and got busy shaving. That stupid cheap razor nicked him twice and once it was all over…he was left with numerous ugly razor bumps! I felt really terrible for him because he looked terrible and he knew it!
Hubby has always prided himself on having very good shaving techniques but this time around, he paid the price for forgetting his normal shaving supplies.
The very next day we drove 30 miles to find a good store that had some proper shaving cream, after-shave lotion and a good men’s facial moisturizer and he immediately got busy using them to heal up his skin. It took an entire 4 full days before my husband looked normal again.
I would like to know if your hubby ever gets razor bumps or razor burn and if so, how does he treat it? If not, I would like to know how your hubby prevents this type of skin damage when he shaves?
