I wasn’t a big breakfast eater until about 3 years ago when I got a good dose of healthy nutrition advice from a local dietician who happens to be a good friend of mine. For some reason, I have never been a big breakfast eater.
With that said, hubby has always been a big breakfast eater and he rarely skips breakfast. He loves all kinds of things for breakfast and is what I call a “BIG” breakfast eater meaning that he has to have a breakfast style meal.
I am what I call a “LIGHT” breakfast eater where I can do one small pancake, one piece of Fresh toast or a simple bowl of cereal or oatmeal. I can’t eat a huge meal at breakfast time or I feel sick and too full to start my day.
When it comes to breakfast, do you eat breakfast or skip it? Do you like a big breakfast meal or are you a light eater? What is your favorite breakfast foods?
If I could have an ideal breakfast it would be homemade French toast with freshly sliced strawberries and whipped cream on top. yummy!!!

Let me continue – because my favorite breakfast foods would be eaten a little later around 10 Am and that would be French toast , eggs, bacon and pancakes
I used to get up at 5 AM and I couldn’t eat breakfast. Now I eat a small breakfast of a yogurt with oats and cinnamon and a fruit.
My favorites are;
~sourdough french toast with butter and maple syrup with turkey bacon and a glass of cold milk.
~Egg scramble with cheese and whatever veggies I have…bell peppers, zucchini, mushrooms, asparagus, avocado, tomato, etc.
~McCann’s Irish Oatmeal with dried cranberries and raw cashews and a little brown sugar.
