Three Summertime No Bake Cookies Recipes

Chocolate Oatmeal No Bake Cookies RecipeIt is HOT and the last thing we want to do is turn on the oven. But having a sweet treat now and then does not have to mean that the oven has to be on. Check out these three great Summer No Bake Recipes that come together super fast and easy and require no oven!

Chow Mein Cookies Recipe

1 c. peanut butter
12 oz. pkg. butterscotch chips
4 c. miniature marshmallows
4 c. chow mein noodles

Place peanut butter and butterscotch chips in the top of a double boiler. Heat over hot water until melted. Combine with marshmallows and chow mein noodles. Mix well and drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Chill for 1-2 hours.

Sunshine Cookies Recipe

1 box vanilla wafers
1 stick butter, softened
1 sm. can frozen orange juice
1 box of powdered confectioners sugar
shredded coconut

Crush vanilla wafers to make crumbs. Mix with a stick of butter, orange juice, and sugar. Roll in small balls about the size of walnuts; roll in shredded coconut. Chill for 1-2 hours, until firm.

Chocolate Oatmeal No Bake Cookies Recipe

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1/4 c. margarine
pinch of salt
1/2 c. milk
3 c. quick oats (oatmeal)
1 c. creamy peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Combine the first 5 ingredients in a large pan and boil for 1 minute, stirring often. Turn off the heat and stir in the oatmeal, peanut butter and vanilla. Drop by the spoonful onto wax paper. Let them cool and they will harden as they cool.
