For the past few weeks I have been telling all of you about the various home remodeling projects that we have been working on. Well, we are now onto phase 2 of our projects and they are coming along nicely.
We have been making a list of all of the new lighting we will need for our home and that is next on our buying list.
Last weekend my husband put in all new kitchen cabinetry and it is really looking nice. With that said, we are now looking to buy some LED under cabinet lighting to really lighten it up in there. I am really liking the look of the glass fronts on all of my new kitchen cabinets! To go along with the cabinet lighting my husband would like to install some crown LED lights too.
For our dinning room I think we will go with a coastal looking white wrought iron chandelier so that I can drape some baubles onto it and perhaps hang some sand dollars and star fish from it. I saw one like that in a home decorating magazine and I really liked the look of that.
There is the dark corner in our living room that doesn’t get a lot of natural sunlight so we will have to figure out something for that area of the room. If I decide to go with a regular tabletop lap it most likely will be a crystal one where I can fill the base of it with sand and colorful seashells. As you can all tell, I am trying to do a coastal theme throughout our home which is pretty tough since we live in Pennsylvania where coastal home decor is not abundant.
For the bar area in our family room my husband would like to go with all energy efficient LED lights in there. That room really needs a lot of help with lighting because there is only one small window in there.
So far we are staying well within our remodeling budget and that is making me pretty happy this week! After the lighting has been figured out…we will move on to the flooring.
