I have a confession…My name is Shelly and I am a chocoholic. I love chocolate so much that I consume it each and every day. I will also admit that my favorite chocolate company is indeed Hershey’s, after all…I live only 10 minutes from downtown Hershey and it’s my hometown!
With that said, I have never tried any of the Hershey’s Simple Pleasures Chocolates until now! Wow, was I missing out!
Hershey’s Simple Pleasures Chocolates is a new delicious line of chocolates with 30 percent less fat compared to the average of the leading milk chocolates. They are individually wrapped for easy portion control, making them the perfect afternoon sweet snack.
Available now nationwide in three smooth and creamy varieties: Milk Chocolate with Chocolate Crème, Dark Chocolate with Chocolate Crème and Milk Chocolate with Vanilla Crème.
For the review I received a bag of the Milk Chocolate with Chocolate Creme centers and was pleasantly surprised to see that each little chocolate is individually wrapped. You can grab a handful and toss them into your purse or lunchbox and just go!
I unwrapped one of these little bites of goodness and popped it into my mouth. The milk chocolate is velvety-smooth and as it melts away you are left with a velvety-smooth chocolate creme center. Oh my gosh…pure chocolate heaven. I couldn’t help myself and ate an additional 3 more in a matter of 15 minutes!
Besides being delicious tasting they are lower in calorie than other chocolates. You can eat 6 of these heavenly chocolate bites and it’s only 180 calories with 70 of those calories being from fat. I think that is totally chocolate awesome!
I decided to NOT share my bag of goodies with the family and I hid them away! When the gang wasn’t around, I would pop a couple of chocolate candies to just treat myself throughout the day. This is the type of chocolate that you want to let sit in your mouth and just melt! They are YUMMY GOOD!
We are heading down to Hershey this weekend and trust me, I am making a stop into Hershey Chocolate World so I can pick up a few bags of these chocolate candies!
