Do any of our blog readers live in Pasadena? If so, I would love to hear from all of you on how well you like the area. You see, my grandparents live in Arizona and they are now looking for some Pasadena real estate as they would like to relocate now that they both are fully retired.
I have been to California a few times but have never had the pleasure of visiting the Pasadena area but have heard from my grandparents that it’s a really nice area, especially for senior citizens who are retired.
They told me that they were out in Pasadena last week and were doing some house shopping and found a really nice cottage style house with 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, kitchen, dining room, living room, den/home office, sun room and basement/family room with a 2 car garage that they really like.
They have an appointment to go look at a 4 bedroom home later this week but I am thinking that this particular house would be too large for them to handle, especially since it has a large yard and an in-ground pool that wouldn’t get much use by them. They are both up there in years and I think a moderately sized home that is in a nice area with stores and medical services nearby would be the best option for them.
Regardless of which home they finally decide to get, I am looking forward to them relocating to Pasadena and living out their golden years in an area that they love. Hopefully I can take a trip out west later this year to visit them and to visit one of my best friends named Chris.
