Today I wanted to tell you all about some great news I got yesterday and I am so excited for my brother that I just had to share with all of you. My brother has been a professional Archer and Outdoors men for about 15 years now. He travels all over the United States participating in various outdoor competitions ranging from Archery, Hunting and Fishing.
Well, he informed me yesterday that he is taking the plunge and going to open up his own retail store featuring a wide variety of sporting goods later this fall. He is on the hunt right now looking for retail store supplies and making a big list of all of the supplies and equipment that he will need. He just got the approval back from the township and is waiting for his commercial license to be approved by the state.
This has been a lifelong dream for my brother but he was always too petrified to start his own business. With the downward spiral of our poor economy in the area, he felt this was the right time to do it and I totally agree with him. He will be hiring his wife to help out in the store along with 4 full-time and 3 part-time employees.
He is hoping to have his Grand Opening the first week in October which will be just in time for all of those holiday shoppers come fall. What a great time to be launching the start of a new retail business!
The entire family is pretty excited about this news and we all know that my brother Jeff is going to make a great success out of his new business endeavor. In a few months I will blog again to let you all know about the grand opening and how the business is going. Yeah!
