The Best Kuhn Rikon Nonstick Knives

My Review: For the review I received two Kuhn Rikon Nonstick Knives to try out for all of you. My mom loves the Kuhn Rikon line of knives but this is the first time I have ever tried them out for myself. The Small Santoku Knife comes in a wide variety of fun colors. I selected red since my kitchen is in red but they also have blue, black, green and purple.
This is a Japanese style knife that is perfect for chopping and slicing meats, fruits and vegetables. It features a 5″ super thin high-quality Japanese steel blade that is incredibly sharp! The ribbed indents and nonstick coating on the knife help to prevent food from sticking. It also comes with a protective sheath to protect the blade which I really love!
My hubby has really large manly hands and tiny knifes just don’t work for him. This particular knife is perfect for all hand sizes and he finds it really comfortable to use. He sliced up some vegetables for me as we were making a salad and let me tell you, this knife sliced everything beautifully! We were able to get nice thin slices for our tomatoes and thicker slices for our mushrooms. Nothing stuck to the blade at all.
We also received the Kuhn Rikon Mini Cheese Cleaver/Prep Knife to try out for all of you. This knife can be used on cheese or for chopping vegetables, herbs and garlic. We didn’t have a block of cheese in the house so my hubby used it to chop down a very large cucumber.
It is 7″ long so it’s perfect for all hand sizes and it’s razor sharp blade will even cut through thick vegetable skins (like a cucumber skin). Just like the first knife, it comes with a protective sheath and has a nonstick coating so your food items won’t stick to it. In addition, this super sharp knife comes in a wide range of beautiful colors so there is definitely one to matching your kitchen and cutlery too.
We have been using our 2 new Kuhn Rikon Knives for over a week now and absolutely love them! We have used them for all kinds of slicing and chopping and they work beautifully! Now that I have 2 of them, I definitely need more! yeah!!!
