Houses for Sale in Kansas City

June 28, 2012 by Shelly

Houses for Sale

A few weeks ago I told you all about my sister Teisha and how she was looking for a job and finally found one. Well, that job is out of state so she will be moving. Now that she has secured the job, she is looking for Kansas City homes for sale. That’s right folks, she is moving to Kansas City!

My sister works in the health-care field and last year she got laid off. Since that time she has been applying for nursing jobs around our area but was only getting offers for part time work. She decided to apply out of state and finally got a full time job offer with great medical benefits. She is really excited about her new job and relocating to a different state.

She flew out to Kansas City last weekend and hired a real estate agency to help her find the perfect home for her and her family. She was telling me that this particular real estate agency can work with her via phone, text messages and emails for the next two weeks helping her find a few houses to look at. This will be a huge time saver for her since she won’t be arriving in Kansas City again until July 9th.

She drafted up a list of everything she is looking for in a house and in what kind of area she would like it to be in. They then go over the list and find her properties that meet her specifications. Once she flies back out on the 9th, they will take her around and show her those particular properties. I think that is a nice little system they have going on for out-of-state people, don’t you?

We are going to throw her a going away party this coming weekend and having a lot of family & friends coming over to our home for a big backyard barbecue. It’s a surprise party so I hope Teisha isn’t reading our blog today! ha!

Anyway, I will let you all know how this big move and new job goes later on in a few weeks once she gets settled in.
