I decided to try out our new frying pan while making breakfast this past weekend. I first made us some fried eggs which is a great way to test out the non-stick properties of the frying pan. I loved how easy it was to flip over our eggs and they were very evenly cooked.
When our fried eggs were done I wiped it out with a damp cloth and threw in some breakfast sausage links. I didn’t use any type of grease or oil and left them brown up for a few minutes. Sometimes sausage will stick to the bottom of a frying pan but this pan did a wonderful job at evenly browning up our sausages and they didn’t stick on the bottom. yeah!
I have been using my new frying pan for all kinds of things like frying eggs in the morning, hot grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch and for browning pork chops for dinner. Everything I have made in this frying pan has cooked evenly and thoroughly. I haven’t had any issues with food items sticking or anything scratching the frying pan. I love that it’s not super heavy but yet it’s extremely durable and well-balanced. One thing that I really love about the handle is that it doesn’t get hot and it is firmly attached to the pan.
I am super impressed with this Green Earth Pan and I really hope that Ozeri adds more cookware pieces to it’s line! I would love a 3 quart saucepan some day with this wonderful cookware technology.
