GlassDharma Glass Beverage Straws
Did you know that McDonalds uses over 50 million drinking straws a day? Just think about how much land fill that is in those numbers. Not to mention the toxins released from those straws into our food. What about all the other food places who serve straws?
I really never thought too much about those facts before now. I was sent some glass straws by Glass Dharma to review. What a great concept! These straws come in four sizes and lengths. There are “shorties” for children or martinis or other mixed drinks. There are also ice tea straws, smoothie straws and straws for bubble tea. All of them can be used for hot or cold beverages.
I love very thick milk shakes once in awhile and have straws collapsing when trying to drink them. What a wonderful experience to be able to use the Glass Dharma glass straw and not have to wait until the shake melts some to be able to drink the sweet treat. One of the best thing about these straws is that you can take them with you. They conveniently fit into your purse, pocket or brief case. There is a 100% Romanian hemp sleeve made of canvas and webbing available to carry your clean straw with you. There is a bent straw that would be wonderful for older people, children or hospital patients.
These straws are made from borosilicate tubing. It is the strongest glass commercially available. It is annealed to Corning Inc. standards. This is a process that strengthens glass. It is the highest quality available. Just think of the Corning Ware you use for cooking. There is a lifetime guarantee against breakage. So if by some freak happening the straw breaks, it will be replaced free of charge. They are handmade in the USA.
The straws are so so pretty. Some of them have glass dots on them. The dots help mark the straws for your guests so they know which drink is theirs. The dots also help the straws from rolling off a counter or table top. The dots come in red, green, blue, amber, clear and black. Besides those advantages they are just plain pretty and a nice novelty. You should check out these great products at glassdharma. You certainly will enjoy using these straws!
As an accessory you may get the sleeves or brushes to fit the diameter of your straw. You may also buy straws in sets of four in each size. Fundraisers are also available.
