Food Saver Containers by Gourmac

My Review: For the review Gourmac sent me 2 of their Food Saver Containers, an Onion Saver and a Tomato Saver to try out for all of you. All of the Gourmac Food Saver products are: Phthalate and BPA-free, Reusable, Recyclable and are Dishwasher Safe. (note: I have mine flipped upside down for picture taking purposes).
The 2-piece Onion Saver has a clear bottom and a purple top. I love that because as soon as I see it in my refrigerator, I know that my onion is inside it. This container is great for keeping your onion odors contained within the container and not going all throughout your refrigerator. You can put a whole onion inside it or a partially cut one, the choice is yours. The container is really easy to use, simply place your onion inside it and twist the two halves together.
The Pro-Line Tomato Saver also comes in 2-pieces and has a clear bottom and a red top. You can place a whole tomato inside it, a partially cut tomato or just slice up your tomato and put all of the slices inside the Tomato Saver. Once you have your tomato inside it you simply twist the two halves together and place it inside your refrigerator.
I keep a lot of fresh produce here in my home and I love having individual containers like this to store my veggies in! Frankly, this is the eco-friendly way to store them and it’s more economical than using plastic wraps and storage bags. Each one of these containers only cost $4.99 and that money-savings can add up pretty quickly!
Another plus to using containers like this is that your fresh veggies are protected. They won’t get squished, bruised or damaged once you place them inside the container. I don’t know about you…but I don’t like bruised and squished tomatoes!
