Last week I told you all about my brother Jeff and how he will be opening up his own retail store later this year specializing in various sporting goods. Things are going well and he is moving onto the next phase of the business.
Well, over the weekend he attended a regional trade show and met a woman who makes natural bath and body products along with natural homemade health and wellness products. This woman that he met really specializes in fragrances and products for men, so he wants to carry some of her products in his new store.
He is going to be placing a large order with her but in the meantime he is trying to help her find a supplier for various sized bottles and jars. He wants her to make customized labels with his store name on them to stick onto the bottles and jars which I think is a great idea.
He wants her to make natural bug repellent balms, bug repellent sprays, natural sunblock creams, sunscreen lotions and a few other things that would be in manly scents and geared towards the outdoorsy man. None of these products would be feminine in nature unless that female was the “outdoorsy type”.
This would be a great addition to add to his store because if you walk into most of the sporting goods stores here in our area, all of their products are chemical heavy and not on the organic or natural side. As you all know, people are getting smarter and looking more for the organic and natural products.
Anyway, I wanted to give you all an update on how things are going with all of this planning and I am really glad that my brother is involving my husband and I in his business plans. What a fun and exciting adventure for our family!
