Discover the Power of the Healthy Mangosteen Fruit

Healthy Mangosteen Fruit

Have you ever heard of the mangosteen fruit? In my quest for health food options for my family, I read about this fruit from Southeast Asia that is reportedly providing healthy benefits for thousands of years.

My hubby does not have the best immune system due to an accident many years ago. With 19 surgeries, he has had over 39 transfusions which equated to replacing his entire blood supply in a short amount of time. With so many transfusions of donor blood, his own blood supply, which was healthy and full of good immunities for him, was compromised and not the same. After healing, we found that he would get every illness and germ that walked in the door or that the kid brought home from school…. and get with harsher results than a normal healthy person. So boosting his and all of our immune systems has been important to our family for many years.

While I was researching immune boosting fruits and foods, I heard about the mangosteen fruit. It is known for its high success rates in boosting intestinal health with the rind of this fruit is apparently as critical to health as the fruit inside. For centuries the Asian people that had access to this fruit used it topically and internally with amazing results.

Everyday researchers are finding more and more benefits to the mangosteen fruit including active phytochemicals, such as 39 different xanthones, some catechins and proanthocyanidins. All I know is that the flavor of this fruit is amazing and the power of the health benefits are wonderful! That is important for me and my family.
