All Veterans Memorial in Cape May, New Jersey

As you all know…hubby and I were on vacation earlier this month and spent an entire week down at the Jersey Shore. We actually have a vacation condo there and go down a few times every year.

One of the places we have never visited before was the new “All Veterans Memorial” which is right behind the World War II Lookout Tower down at Sunset Beach in Cape May.

Touring the tower and the All Veterans Memorial is FREE, so it’s a nice little history tour for those of you who are history buffs or tour both of them to educate the kids. Plus, it’s one of those tourist attractions that are never crowded.

Nearby on Sunset Beach you’ll find a few gift shops, a grill type of cafe, a beach you can sit on, miniature golf, the nightly flag ceremony to honor veterans and Higbee Beach is within walking distance.
