If you have been reading our blog for the past few months you will have read several posts from me in regards to all of the traveling that my hubby and I get to do. Matter of fact, we are getting ready to leave for trip number four in a few days.
Anyway, hubby and I decided that we need to purchase a new portable charger so that when we are traveling we will have back-up power to charge up our cell phones, iPads, iPods, our portable TV, our radio and our laptop computers.
We were doing some shopping and found out that you can actually purchase solar-powered chargers and we are leaning towards purchasing one of those since we are trying to be more eco-friendly in our day-to-day lives.
Isn’t that pretty cool that you can get solar-powered chargers these days? I think that is really cool and since it is portable and uses the sun, we could take it with us when we go camping too! (matter of fact, it’s ideal for those who go camping, hiking or spend a lot of time outdoors).
We thought that something like this would be expensive but were pleasantly surprised to find several of them at right around the $130.00 price point which makes them super affordable.
Do any of you have a solar powered portable charger? If so, how much did you pay for it? Do you like it and how often do you use it? We would love to hear your thoughts on this before we decide to make our purchase.
