Father’s Day is just around the corner and have you got your shopping done yet? If not, I am here to tell you about a great company called Plow & Hearth who sells a large variety of gifts that would be appropriate for Dad on Father’s Day.
When you shop at Plow & Hearth you will find outdoor living products, indoor living products, apparel, footwear, yard & garden and more! When I browsing around the Plow & Hearth site I saw many items that my hubby would love for Father’s Day and finally settled on the Set of 2 Extra-Bright, Heavy Duty Solar Path Lights. My hubby is really big into gardening this year and since we purchased an older home, anything that has to do with landscaping and beautifying our yard…he loves!
Once our review package arrived I wrapped the box up in some tissue paper and gift wrap and had our 3 year old Grand-Wee-One present the “gift” to hubby as an early Father’s Day gift. She stood their anxiously waiting for him to get it open and it was way too cute! Anyway, hubby opened the box and was super excited to see 2 brand new solar path lights staring back at him. You see, he ran over a few of our other ones on his new riding lawn mower and is quite embarrassed about it. Now he has 2 new ones to replace those! yeah! (of course, I had him put these closer to the house to protect them from him, LOL).
The solar path lights come in 3 metal finishes: Gunmetal Black, Bronze or Copper, I selected the Gunmetal Black. There are 2 super bright LED lights in each of the path lights which we really love! Most path lights are not bright enough for us but these definitely are! They are made of durable aluminum and the globes are made from real glass. Really classy looking!
They are 20″ high by 6″ in diameter so they are a really nice size. You can place them into the ground at the height that you desire. Hubby took them out of the box and inserted the rechargeable batteries into each path light and within minutes had them out front in our yard. Later that evening our wonderful path lights lit up at dusk and they stayed on until dawn.
Hubby loves his new path lights so much that he wants to get more of them and then trash our old ones which didn’t hold enough charge (only lit up for 3-4 hours and it wasn’t a bright lite). These path lights are top-notch!!! yeah!
