Today I would like to introduce you to the company called Altego who sells a line of laptop and Macbook storage bags. You will find styles like the traditional carry tote and even a wonderful unisex backpack. In addition to the laptop bags you will find netbook and laptop sleeves too!
The great folks over at Altego Brands sent me their wonderful 15″ Laptop Messenger Bag to review for all of you. As you all know, hubby and I do a lot of traveling and when we travel we take a minimum of 2 laptops with us. Protecting our computer gear is very important to us.
This particular bag will fit up to a 15″ laptop or MacBook and there is also an iPad pocket within the bag. This bag is perfect for the person who travels with a lot of electronic computer gear. The bag features water resistant coated canvas, metal self-locking twist buckles for security, a soft quilted interior lining, a padded iPad pocket, a commercial grade seat belt shoulder strap and waffle design back padding on the bag.
This bag is a great unisex bag that can be used by high school kids, business professionals, college kids or even by those of us who work from home but travel a lot. You can carry it like a traditional brief case via the top handle or sling it over your shoulder. If you are an average sized person, you can adjust the strap and wear it cross body too.
Everything about this bag speaks to it’s quality! All of the zippers, turn-lock closures, straps, handles, etc. are all well-made and I love the fabrication of this bag which makes it light-weight and very durable. I spilled a little bit of iced tea on it a few days ago and I just simply wiped it off and everything inside was perfectly protected! Gotta love that! In addition, the bag has a flat bottom so when I sit it down on the table or my desk, it doesn’t tip over! yeah!
The inside of the bag has numerous compartments to help you stay organized. (3 mesh pockets inside front, 1 back wall medium-sized compartment, 2 small back wall pen/pencil size compartments and then the nice padded iPad compartment. Sorry my photos don’t show this well but trust me, the inside of this bag is absolutely fantastic with all of it’s great organizing features.
Overall, I am in LOVE with my new bag! I am going to use it for when hubby and I go on vacation later this month and actually take both our 15″ laptop and our 10″ netbook, they will easily both fit inside the bag. I love that I can also take some DVDs, office suplies and other business necessities with me! yeah! I give it 10 stars out of 10 stars!
