KLUTCHclub Healthy Living in a Box

Today, I would like to introduce you to KLUTCHclub, a brand new company that just launched in April. Founded by Julie Bashkin, KLUTCHclub is a new monthly subscription service that sends a hand-picked and “themed” box of holistic health, fitness and wellness products right to your doorstep every month. Julie created KLUTCHclub in answer to her perpetual quest to find products that would make eating healthy, nutritious food and exercising on-the-go more convenient.

When you join KLUTCHclub, you create an account, fill in your profile, and choose a membership that fits your life. Memberships include a one or three month auto-renew subscription, and a nonauto-renew one year membership package. Month-to-month and yearly packages are also available to give as a gift. Members learn about new, niche brands and products that suit their lifestyles, and get access to exclusive deals and offers from companies that share their values. Each box is full of $50+ of products (May’s “Get Ready for Summer” KLUTCHclub box, pictured above, is worth over $100), but only costs subscribers $18 per month or less. All memberships include FREE SHIPPING within the contiguous United States, and KLUTCHclub boxes are shipped on the 15th of each month.

My Review: I was excited to receive my KLUTCHclub box! It’s fun to receive packages in the mail, isn’t it? It came packaged in a sturdy cardboard box, that slid out of an out box, so everything was well protected. I was quite impressed with the packaging and to see that so many products fit into this one shoebox-sized box.

The variety of products covers an individual’s health inside and out. The theme of the KLUTCHclub launch box I received was “Spring clean your body”. Below is a list of everything that was included, with some of my comments…

• Kristin McGee’s Power Yoga Workout DVD – A detoxifying Yoga workout.
• Hydrive – A brand new energizing drink mix product to kick-start your workout. My husband actually nabbed this and drank it on one of his over-night shifts. In his words, “Powerful, and flavorful!”
• Post workout Zico Pure Premium Coconut Water hydration to replenish electrolytes.
• Soothing Tea Forte teas with plant based anti-oxidants to improve skin’s luminous appearance. I was sent 3 different flavored teabags, and enjoyed them all as iced tea, rather than hot.
• A Shea-Terra Organics cleansing and purifying deep-pore facial wash – I loved this! I put it all over my face, out of the shower, and once it was set, washed it off. My face feels amazing!
• An 8 oz. bottle of Barlean’s 100% Organic flax oil supplement. I admit, this one I had a hard time figuring out what to do with at first, but it can be taken straight, or mixed with yogurt, cottage cheese, or blender drinks (like smoothies).
• Satisfying healthy snacks and nutritious treats from Enjoy Life Foods – KLUTCHclub members were the first to try their newest snack, Plentils (loved these) and No Nuts! Seed and Fruit Mix. I saw these both as great take along snacks for those who are on the go, but are looking for a healthy alternative to the snacks found at most convenient stores.
• An all natural Peanut Butter and Dark Chocolate bar (sounds decadent, I know, and it was SO good) from Kind Snacks that is chock full of nutrients like fiber, protein, calcium and iron. This bar was my favorite of everything I tried, and am happy to see they are available in my area Meijers store!
• A $25 gift card for Yoga Hyde’s all natural organic yoga clothes and outfits. What a generous discount!

Overall Impression: The KLUTCHclub box far exceeded my expectations. Such a unique service! The range of products covers health, wellness and fitness. Also members get a first taste, in some cases, of new products. I know I fell in love at first taste with the Kind bar, and the Plentils from Enjoy Life Foods. I appreciate that they cover beverages and snacks, healthy supplements, and products to help with my workouts.

KLUTCHclub subscription options give you an opportunity to try them out for yourself without necessarily committing to anything long-term, unless you want to. This service would be perfect for just about anyone with an active life-style. All of the searching is done for you, and then the products are shipped straight to your door. I think it would also make a great gift for a busy Mom, college graduate who’ll be busy this Summer, or anyone who is health conscious and on the go.
