I have to admit – cleaning is not one of my favorite things to do. But as a necessary evil, I do look for household cleaning products that work great an do not include junk that is toxic to me or my family. The new JAWS Cleaning Solutions is right up my alley.
JAWS which stands for Just Add Water is a very cool concept in cleaning products. Developed to cut down on excessive environmental impact these cleaning products are very unique. You purchase the non toxic cleaning products with 2 concentrated cartridges and one spray bottle for each product you wish to use. You then just add water and mix when you are ready to use it at home.
It is pretty cool and a simple concept. All you do is take the empty bottle and remove the sprayer. You add the water in to the fill line and drop the cartridge holding your cleaning product into the spray bottle. Then add your spray trigger lid back on and it forces out the cleaning solution into the bottle to mix with the water. A quick shake and you are ready to roll.
This line comes in 4 different solutions to use all over your home. The Glass and Hard Surface (Blue) also works on stainless steel and granite. It is ammonia free and alcohol free and it give a streak free shine. It did a great job on my windows and shined my faucets nicely!
The Multi Purpose/ Degreaser (Orange) is great for counters, tile and appliances. It cuts grease great and I love using it on my stove and overhanging microwave with fan unit. Its cleans it all super quick.
The Purple one is the JAWS Bathroom Cleaner and Deodorizer. This is fabulous in the bathroom and works great on soap scum, mineral deposits and everyday shower and bathroom grime. It did a nice job on my tub and shower.
The Green Label cleaning solution is the Disinfectant Cleaner and Degreaser. This is a broad spectrum EPA registered disinfectant that kills 99.9% of germs. You can use this on hard non porus surfaces to kill germs and viruses. I scrubbed down my trash cans and wiped my counters (non granite), refrigerator and wiped my toilets too. Nice. It did a great job!
I really like this JAWS system. They are all very are effective and easy to use. They have a great Uses Chart on their site to tell you what product works best on each surface. Very Helpful! I really like that the products use fewer plastic containers and create less waste than traditional household cleaners. If I don’t have to pay for shipping water across country, I think it will be a more effective use of my money to just buy a small refill cartridge. Save the Bottle and use it until it dies! And the price of the refills is super affordable! No worries about storage either and the product works great too!
