Delicious Musselman’s Apple Sauces
Today I would like to introduce you to the company called Musselman’s who makes a line of delicious tasting apple sauces and apple juices. When I was a small child, one of my favorite snacks was applesauce and now that I am an adult, I still love snacking on it! What is really unique about Mussleman’s is that the growers who grow and harvest the apples, also own the company.
The Musselman’s company officially got their start in 1907 and over the decades they have become one of America’s leading brands of apple sauce in grocery stores across the nation. When it comes to the product of their apple sauces and apple juices, only the highest quality of apples are used.
The company sent me and my family 3 products to try out for all of you. First up, the Musselman’s Natural Unsweetened Apple Sauce which my family has never tried, until now. This apple sauce is really great for those watching their weight because a 1/2 cup serving is only 50 calories. No sugar has been added to this apple sauce and it only contains 3 ingredients: Apples, Water and Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C). I love that this apple sauce is packaged in a big 46 oz. plastic bottle (a family-size bottle) so it’s easier for me to store. I wasn’t sure what the family would think of this apple sauce since it’s unsweetened and had no cinnamon in it but we were all pleasantly surprised at how delicious it tasted! In addition, I love baking with apple sauce so I added a 1/4 cup to of their apple sauce to my homemade muffins recipe and wow, they came out super tasty and very moist!
The company also sent me a package of their Musselman’s Original Apple Sauce and a package of their Musselman’s Cinnamon Apple Sauce. Each package contains 6 (4 ounce) snack cups so they are perfect for packing a lunch to work or school. My Wee-One packs a lunch to preschool 3 times a week and my husband packs a lunch for work. I decided over the course of a week to pack one cup into each of their lunches. The Wee-One got the original apple sauce in hers and the hubby got cinnamon apple sauce in his. Each day they came home and their apple sauce was gone. Each snack cup of apple sauce is only 90 calories with zero fat calories so again, a great healthy snack for those watching their weight.
All of the Musselman’s Apple Sauces that we got to try out were delicious! They all tasted fresh and just like homemade apple sauce. I love those convenient snack cup sizes as they are great for grab-and-go snacks! My family loves this Musselman’s brand and we think you would love them too!
