Today I would like to introduce you to the snack food company called Crispy Green who makes a line of 100% Natural Freeze Dried Fruit Snacks. The company has been in business since 2004. In 2005 they introduced a line of one-ingredient fruit snacks that are made with real fruit using the latest freeze-drying technology. All of Crispy Green products are packaged in high quality triple-layer poly-bags with an aluminium lining to protect from moisture and light for a long shelf life.
When you shop at Crispy Green you will find a large variety of dried fruit snacks and today I am going to tell you briefly about them.
The Crispy Fruit line of dried fruit snacks includes: crispy apples, crispy mangoes, crispy Asian pears, crispy bananas, crispy cantaloupes and crispy pineapples. The FruitziO line includes: FruitziO strawberries, FruitziO peaches, FruitziO apples & strawberries, FruitziO apricots and FruitziO kiwi.
I was sent one bag of all 11 flavors to try out for all of you and let me tell you, I had a hard time choosing which one to try first! I decided to snack on the Crispy Cantaloupe and trust me, this bag didn’t last long! I had it completely gone in less than 10 minutes! When you bite into the dried fruit snack all you taste is cantaloupe and it has a wonderful soft texture to it. If you have dental or jaw problems, this fruit is NOT hard, it’s crispy but not hard at all. The entire 10g sized bag is only 40 calories with zero being from fat which makes it a great snack for those watching their weight like me!

Once my family got home they all wanted to try them too! They selected the Crispy Apples, Crispy Pineapples and Crispy Bananas. (I hid the Crispy Mangoes and Crispy Asian Pears for myself LOL). All of them demolished their little bags of dried fruit snacks and loved them. Seriously folks, we have tried many brands but this brand really rocks!!!
Once we had those gone we broke out the FruitziO freeze dried fruit snacks. The peaches and strawberries went to me, hubby selected the apples & strawberries and the daughter & granddaughter got the apricots and kiwi. These were packaged in larger sized bags (each bag holds 25g so there is 2.5 servings per bag). The FruitziO snacks have only 2 ingredients, the fruit and some pure cane sugar. Each bag is only 100 calories or 40 calories per serving. These snacks had just a tad of a sweet taste to them and were very delicious! If you like your dried fruit snacks a tad sweet, this line would be for you. We devoured them all!
