We all need a snack treat now and then. I have a sweet tooth, I admit it, so when I had the chance to review cookies, oh you know I was on it! And the fact that these were from a company that made fortune style cookies, I was excited!
Covenant Cookies is a different type of cookie company. They create beautiful fortune cookies with an inspirational message inside and other delightful cookies too. They offer many different cookie gift baskets and cookie flavors perfect for any occasion.
I was sent 2 different items to try for you today. The first is the Take Out Pail of 12 Classic Inspirational Cookies. This is a cute clear takeout box carrier with shred and loaded with 12 individually wrapped cookies. Each crisp vanilla fortune cookie is hand dipped in fine Belgian Chocolates with a choice of Dark, Milk or White and decorated with chocolate drizzled to perfection. Also available is a rich golden Caramel. Some came with sprinkles and some with chopped nuts attached.
You know, when I saw that these are dipped in chocolate and caramel, I immediately thought they would be soggy or soft. Was I ever wrong. Oh My goodness… these totally rock! The cookie is firm with a nice crunch and the coatings are just divine! My son and hubby loved them too! My favorite which is a scary confession coming from a chocolate lover… the caramel with chopped nuts. OH. My.. The caramel was kind of soft and you get this burst of sweet goodness… YUMM! Don’t get me wrong, the chocolate is to die for too and those were just gone in a flash. My son’s girlfriend was here and I think they ate most of them LOL
I also received the Giant Inspirations cookie for Mom since it was near Mothers Day when I was shipped this product. This giant cookie is dipped in white chocolate and covered in pink and white sprinkles. It was fabulous and we totally enjoyed devouring this one too!
Inside each cookie is a fortune in the form of an inspirational message. These are very nice and you can get a choice of the traditional messages, ones with Bible verses or ones with Love and Romance messages. Too Cute!
