My Review: The great folks over at USANA sent us a bottle of their USANIMALS which is a vitamin & mineral supplement for children. Each bottle contains 56 chewable tablets in a wild berry flavor. This supplement is made for children ages 2 through 12 years of age.
Dosing Info: Children aged 2-4 years of age 1 chewable tablet and children age 4 years and older get 2 chewable tablets.
Here is additional information about the product: USANIMALS are supplements designed for children. Not only does it support healthy immune function with its vitamins A, C, E and zinc ingredients but it also consists of calcium, magnesium and vitamin D which assist in creating strong and healthy bones. We all know how kids sometimes love to play rough on the playgrounds so USANIMALS are perfect. They are also easy-to-eat chewable’s stamped with fun animal shapes, fit for every child’s personality.
Our Thoughts: We have been giving our Little G who is 3 years old one chewable every day at breakfast time for the past 10 days. She loves the flavor/taste of them and says they taste like berries but doesn’t tell us which one. The first 2-3 days she had a hard time chewing them as they are quite large but after a couple she got the hang of it pretty quickly. They are the size of an adult vitamin so don’t be surprised about that. Regardless, they are easy to chew but she had never had any of this size before. She has not had any issues taking these vitamins at all, matter of fact, she reminds me about them every morning and looks forward to getting her vitamin every day. Since she only takes one a day this is a 56 day supply that we receive and she will continue to take them until they are gone.
